I’ve been visiting this place for about 3 years. Aidana is the best. I love her personalized skincare treatments. I can’t recommend a lot. If you want to get a royal treatment, don’t hesitate and book your session. ❤️🫶🏻

I have never in my life my skin looks so bad and I trusted that they did this with many other clients before and that my skin would be OK. Ladies, if you’re going to go here doing a hydra facial, micro needling and a chemical peel is way too much on the skin. I’m not even too sure why that’s an option at their office. The owner does not communicate with the aesthetician. They don’t tell you what’s going to happen with each procedure to your skin and they don’t give you product recommendations after so you’re left in the wind. I have no clue how my skin is going to recover from this. I went in with 3 to 4 pimples and I am left with so much whiteheads and cyst. Then I’m gonna have to wear makeup for a long time as I try to fix the scarring that’s gonna be coming my way. Never coming back my skin is ruined. The Groupon wasn’t worth and I wish I could get my money back. I’m going to edit my review because The Salon decided to leave a comment underneath my review and I don’t like to be gaslit. There were no proper aftercare instruct And according to every single other aesthetician, I’ve talked to you’re not supposed to combine these three treatments together they fried my skin. In fact, I had talked to one person over the phone who did not communicate properly about what I could and could not do after the treatment and after the treatment I was told not to sweat when I specifically said I was active person and was teaching a dance class that week. Instead of advising me, she seemed to have more of an attitude and didn’t really wanna help me along in the process of understanding the treatments together, which led to my skin breaking out like this because I’m pretty sure if I was given proper aftercare instructions with products to use I still would’ve broken out like this because my skin is fried. The owner did try making this right by coming in for a sensitive facial, but the damage had already been done. I had so many whitehead that I did scar after extractions and I have dents in my skin. I had to text the owner and say communication was not going well with the aesthetician that did my face. You guys should not be offering this as a three treatment together. Especially as someone has darker skin tone, they should know how to work with skin types and they should know what treatments are going to work well together and what treatments are going to destroy your skin. Out of all the salons I’ve been to for skin care. This is by far the worst, and I could’ve just saved my money and not gone and saved my skin. The owners partner did this to me skin and if she had bothered to evaluate my skin and listen and help guide the treatment this could’ve been prevented and my skin could be saved. It’s about 3 months later and I’m still getting treatments done to lighten my scars obviously not with this salon.
Assel is truly amazing. My cousin and I have been coming here for hydrofacials and microneedling, and the experience is always fantastic. Assel is so caring and pays exceptional attention to detail with every treatment. If you’re looking for great skincare, I highly recommend Skin Ethics NYC!
